Events Co-ordinator

The role will include (but not limited to):
- Develop new ideas to grow what we have on offer at the British Ironwork Centre for all events (big and small), including events aimed at large parties and groups.
- Planning and managing all events at the British Ironwork Centre, including advertising and tickets/ bookings, and optimising ticket sales and profit. Optimisation and segmentation of marketing, and using targeted advertising.
- Working within an allocated budget and to meet required KPI’s.
- Liaising with our current Members to ensure that they receive marketing of upcoming events, including the management of our member database.
- Answering any Member or Press queries relating to events.
- Build, generate and collect positive online reviews and for events past and present.
- Discuss with clients their requirements, provide estimates, catering options and dates and follow up all correspondence in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work directly with Directors, Marketing, Graphics and Onsite Teams regarding events and to create promotional aspects to promote our unique selling points.
- To be a welcoming face, ensuring all clients have the best possible experience, having left the British Ironwork Centre after the event with a feeling of what we stand for and offer. Encourage attendance and promoting the next upcoming event.
- To complete all relevant health and safety and risk assessments reports for each event/activity.
- Manage client database to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate events on-site ensuring the experience runs smoothly from conception to completion/close down.
- Managing staff allocation to assist with event and activities as required.
- Representing the business on and off site to promote the centre.
- Assisting with other areas of the business as and when required.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Previous event coordinator experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Extremely organised and methodical
- Team player who enjoys working in collaboration with other members of the team and who strives to motivate and inspire others
- Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, be proactive and creative
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional IT skills including Microsoft 365
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
