About the Role:
They are looking for a determined and experienced individual to join the fast-growing International Financial Outsourcing team as an Assistant Manager. The selected individual will need to be a fully qualified Accountant as well as possess a background withinpractice. Experience will preferably be strong in assessing full monthly management accounts. **Responsibilities**:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, guaranteeing all client reporting & payment deadlines are met.
- Full evaluation of management accounts, confirming technical accuracy and that any inconsistencies are explored and dealt with before submission to the client.
- Assessment of VAT return submissions and Intrastat returns.
- Overseeing of Management Accountants and Financial Administrators, certifying they are fulfilling their work properly and offering assistance.
- Retaining exceptional relations with clients, acting as the central finance point of contact, responding efficiently to reporting or ad hoc technical queries and resolving any concerns.
- The evaluation of payment runs and online BACs payment submissions.
- Interacting with teams across the firm together with international local service providers for accomplishment of UK and global compliance duties.
- WIP & billing control: guaranteeing a comprehensive knowledge of the contracted scope of work, approving special fees & supporting with contract evaluations and fee discussions.
- Supervising costings on client portfolio and reporting/ explaining monthly recovery to management.
- Recognizing and executing improvements to the current compliance routines and control systems.
- Overseeing the onboarding of new client accounts from an accounting and administrative standpoint.
- Contributing to the broader team and supporting the Management team in the day-to-day running of the team, with accountability for a selection of management duties.
- Supporting in researching and executing new accounting proposals for efficiency reasons.
- Staying up to date with technical advancements affecting work. Carrying out proactive study (tax & financial reporting related).
- Guaranteeing full compliance with anti-money laundering commitments.
**Requirements**:
- Significant Knowledge and Experience in a practice background
- Be ACA / ACCA qualified
- Strong experience in preparing and reviewing full monthly management accounts
- Comprehensive knowledge of all VAT reporting requirements
- Excellent technical skills and strong IT capabilities
- Be able to manage time effectively and meet strict deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Have an analytical approach and be detailed oriented
