This role will be tasked with assuming overall responsibility for existing channels and routes to market that are in place, as well as devising strategic plans to grow existing and new channels..Driving through proactive management and communication withinterdepartmental collaboration, online and offline marketing programs, new product introductions, improved sales tools and effective pricing management.

**Responsibilities of theGeneral Manager**
- Business Management:

- Develop & clarify business structure & strategy.
- Sales & Marketing strategy alongside the Marketing Manager.
- Improve efficiency's & profitability.
- Business planning; including staffing and project work.
- People Management:

- Management and coaching of 12 full time members of staff; 5 directly and 7 through their line managers.
- Setting staff objectives in line with the three-year business plan.
- Providing support to the team.
- HR for all staff; staff policies, welfare, contracts etc.
- Budgeting & Business Analytics:

- Setting of 3-year budgets alongside the Accounts Manager.
- Annual analysis of brand and sales channel profitability.
- Costings of promotions and product lines.
- Pricing strategy.
- Operations:

- Overseeing the planning and operations of the harvest.
- Overseeing the efficient running of Dispatch alongside the Dispatch Manager.

**Requirements of the General Manager**
- Experienced in driving sales
- Have experience in managing the P&L
- Experience in creating and implementing price and revenue management strategies to maximise the growth and profitability of the business
