**Peabody**has an exciting opportunity for a **Care Support Worker** on a** full-time, permanent** **basis**based in **Grays, Essex. **In return you will receive a competitive salary of **£19,305** **per annum.**

**About the Care Support Worker** **role**:
As our **Care Support Worker** you will assist people to live well, be independent and be connected to their own community.
- This role will require an Enhanced DBS check._

**What we're looking for in our Care Support Worker**:

- Positive, kind and caring
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn
- The ability to work a 24/7 rota (including bank holidays)
- The ability to work with a person centred approach
- The ability to undertake personal care with dignity and respect
- Experience is not essential as training will be provided

**What you can expect to be doing as our Care Support Worker**:

- Bringing ideas and enthusiasm to your role
- Providing social, practical and emotional support to customers so that the individual supported can achieve their personal goals and aspirations
- Protecting the safety of the people you are supporting, following all management plans consistently including those relating to health, diet, medication, finances and behaviour
- Being observant of changes in the happiness and wellbeing of the people you support and raising concerns and getting help where required
- Reporting concerns about abuse or safeguarding issues as per policy
