Here at **Peabody**, we have an opportunity for a **Care Support Worker** on a Permanent basis at our Avalon Nursing Home in **Grays**. In return you will receive a competitive salary of **£**1**9,305 per annum.**

**Shift pattern** - Day and night hours

**About the Care Support Worker** **role**:
As a Care Support Worker you will assist people to live well, be independent and connected to their own community.

**What we're looking for in our Care Support Worker**:

- People who are positive, kind and caring
- People who are enthusiastic and willing to learn
- Someone who is able to work a 24/7 rota (including bank holidays)
- Someone who is able to work with a person centred approach
- Able to undertake personal care with dignity and respect
- Experience is not essential as training will be provided

**What you can expect to be doing as our Care Support Worker**:

- Bringing ideas and enthusiasm to your role
- Providing social, practical and emotional support to customers so that the individual supported can achieve their personal goals and aspirations.
- Protecting the safety of the people you are supporting, following all management plans consistently including those relating to health, diet, medication, finances and behaviour.
- Being observant to changes in the happiness and wellbeing of the people you support and raise concerns and get help where required.
- Reporting concerns about abuse or safeguarding issues as per policy.
- This role will require a Enhanced DBS check_
