Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Systems Technical Lead to join one of the largest utilities companies in the Midlands. **Location**: Coventry (Onsite)
**Pay**: £400 Per Day (Inside IR35)
**Duration**: 6 Month Assignment
**Start Date**: ASAP

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Business Lead, you will help develop the digital transformation plan within our design capability team working with the Strategy & Transformation team.

**Key Accountabilities**

Your role is to identify, develop and implement a technology roadmap to deliver the following capability:
a) Digital transformation and automation of our software and systems to enable our design process to deliver next generation assets for the water industry.
b) Creation of smart assets using advanced sensors and AI to optimise in-life performance.
You will design, develop, source and implement data science and technology solutions to support the digitisation of systems and processes. Serving as an expert, you will recommend how technologies such as IoT, AI, Machine Learning and Robotic Process Automation can be utilised to help improve business outcomes. You will evaluate new technology against existing systems to determine integration requirements and own the implementation of the digital transformation roadmap to support business growth.
You will collaborate with the ICA teams and other departments, including technology, commercial, legal and more to ensure that the final solutions meet the current and future business needs.

**Experience**:
With a proven track record in technology or digital transformation, you will have excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of people. You will be a forward thinking, collaborative innovator, capable of anticipating challenges and responding to change in a rapidly evolving environment. You will be able to make educated judgments and decisions in the face of ambiguity, and have a good grasp of the bigger picture, seeking opportunities to contribute to the wider agenda.
