Your Responsibilities
An opportunity has arisen within the ADM Investor Services business for an Operational Resilience Lead, based in the City of London. The role will report to the Head of IT & Global IT Governance with a dotted line report to the Head of Operations. As the Operational Resilience Lead, you will be responsible for driving the development, implementation, and management of operational resilience frameworks within the firm. You will ensure compliance with UK regulatory requirements while enhancing our ability to prevent, adapt to, respond to, recover from, and learn from operational disruptions. You will work cross-functionally with senior stakeholders to embed a culture of resilience, ensuring critical business services remain robust and aligned with the expectations of regulators.

The main responsibilities of this role will include:
Operational Resilience Framework Development & Ongoing Management:

- Under the direction of senior management; lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the firm’s operational resilience framework.
- Produce regular progress & performance reporting as required for operational resilience & risk governance forums.
- Monitor and interpret regulatory developments, advising senior management on implications and necessary actions.

Important Business Services & Impact Tolerances:

- In conjunction with business stakeholders and senior management:

- Identify and map important business services, ensuring dependencies (e.g. people, processes, technology, third parties) are clearly understood.
- Define and maintain impact tolerances for critical business services in line with regulatory expectations.
- Obtain final Board approval for defined important business services & associated impact tolerances.
- Develop and maintain robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans to support the timely restoration of important business services.

Scenario Testing:

- Plan & lead regular scenario testing exercises (both physical & virtual) to assess the firm’s ability to remain within impact tolerances during severe but plausible disruptions.
- Produce detailed test reports with recommendations for enhancements based on test outcomes.
- Track testing remediation & improvement actions through to completion.

Self-Assessment:

- Undertake an annual self-assessment of the firm’s operational resilience framework & execution for ultimate approval by the Board.
- Stakeholder Engagement:

- Collaborate with all departments to integrate resilience into operational & strategic planning.
- Collaborate with other ADM / ADMIS resilience functions to share best practice and leverage group resources.

Incident Response and Lessons Learned:

- Oversee & support the response to operational incidents, ensuring appropriate escalation, investigation, and reporting.
- Lead post-incident reviews to identify root causes and implement improvements.
- Own & manage the firm’s emergency staff notification system.

Third-Party Risk Management:

- Evaluate the resilience of third-party vendors during on-boarding and as part of the regular vendor review cycle.
- Undertake regular third party risk reviews.
- Collaborate with system & vendor owners to address resilience gaps / risk remediation.

Your Profile
**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Proven experience in operational resilience, business continuity, or a related field within UK-regulated financial services.
- Strong knowledge of FCA operational resilience framework and requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to implement resilience strategies and drive cultural change across an organization.
- Experience conducting business service mapping and scenario testing.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

**Desirable Skills**
- Knowledge of EU Operational Resilience regulation (DORA)
- Relevant qualifications such as CBCI, MBCI, or a risk management certification (e.g., IRM, ISO 22301).
- Experience with technology resilience or cybersecurity risk management.
- Knowledge of third-party risk management frameworks.
