An opportunity has become available for a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator (Turning) at ABG Rubber and Plastics in Northampton. The role will involve programming, setting and operating our CNC Lathes, to ensure the efficient manufacturing of finished parts.

**About the Role**
- To program set and operate CNC Lathes on a daily basis
- Produce finished parts from customer drawings, checked to stated tolerances and to an agreed time frame
- To meet production output levels and make sure they are always optimised
- Monitor quality and ensure completed goods are suitable for dispatch
- Complete a Quality Assurance procedure sheet on selected orders
- Assist with packing and finishing of machined parts, as required
- Ensure work areas are free from obstructions and all unwanted materials are reallocated
- Carry out basic daily maintenance checks (oil/ coolant)
- Dispose of all waste to the designated areas
- Assist with any cleaning duties as set out by the Shift Leader

**About You**
- Must have experience of on-line and off-line programming
- Experience of programming Sliding Head machines would be highly advantageous, however not essential
- Must have good attention to detail and strive for 100% accuracy
- Ideally served a recognised apprenticeship in Mechanical or Production Engineering would be desirable but not essential
