**Management Accountant**

An opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a growing business based in Westerham.

It will perform an integral role supporting the finance department in its reporting and financial control. Working closely with the Commercial Finance Manager and the Finance Director. The individual is responsible for producing reports of current and pastfinancials against budget, reviewing trends for individual schools, and distributing this information to the senior managers of the company.

The role will be key in managing the finance department’s monthly activities including invoicing, credit control and month end processes.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To complete monthly reports that show budget versus actual data.
- To assist the Commercial Finance Manager in providing timely, meaningful, and insightful analysis of data to senior management and key clients.
- Reconcile key accounts monthly and update any discrepancies.
- Manage the monthly invoicing process, working closely with the income team to ensure the invoicing is on time, complete and correct.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to support effective decision making of the leadership team.
- Produce and validate financial models to support the business.
- Validation of financial data across the business, ensuring that systems reconcile.
- Key finance systems user, delivering functional support as required to the Head Office accounting function.
- Ad hoc project work as required, forming a key part of cross-functional teams tasked with driving key initiatives forwards.
- Assist in the ongoing efforts to improve and streamline key business finance processes.

**SECONDARY FUNCTION**

- To attend all training and meetings as required.
- To ensure compliance with Health & Safety laws and regulations.

**PROFILE**:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounting function and be part qualified in ACCA/CIMA.

Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint.

Experience of SAGE preferred but not essential

Hours: Office based 5 days a week with flexible hours.

**Salary**: From £35k to £40k (will be pro rata depending on hours)
