Assistant Project Manager, Central London (Hybrid Working), Up to £42,500 per annum, plus pension, healthcare, and bonus
An opportunity for a bright, degree qualified engineer to gain first class training and experience on prestige projects with a highly regarded employer and acclaimed project management consultancy. Their work focuses on major building projects within theculture & heritage, science, health, education, mission critical, industrial, residential & mixed use, hotel & leisure sectors and for corporate occupiers. The position offers a career path leading to professional qualification and a senior role in projectmanagement.
Under the guidance of senior project managers and directors you will gain experience in planning, programming, procurement, design management and co-ordination of contractors, external consultants and stakeholders. You will undergo an in-house training programmeand be provided with mentorship and support to become a professionally qualified project manager with the Association for Project Management. Support to pursue ICE chartership is also offered.
**About you**: A bright engineer with a 2:1, or above, in engineering or construction management from a reputable university. You will need one or more years’ work experience and have had some site based experience and exposure to building projects.Strong interpersonal and communications skills are essential, to succeed you will need to work well as part of a team and be able to forge productive working relationships with clients and eternal stakeholders who will include contractors, architects and subconsultants. You must also have the drive and interest to learn new project management skills and to make use of the opportunities provided to learn and develop.
