We would like to recruit further Teaching Assistance to support in our Early Years / Year 1 classes.

Which is why to help us meet the diverse need of our youngest pupils we want to add someone with these values and the following skills to our team.

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant who:

- Has the drive and vision to make a difference to children’s outcomes
- Has TA qualifications or is on their journey to achieving them
- Is fascinated by children’s development and how they learn
- Can see what a child needs before the child knows it themselves
- Thinks of solutions rather than sees problems
- Could plan and deliver small group learning while the teacher leads the rest of the class
- Will be confident to lead a larger group while the teacher focuses on a small one
- Loves to read and share stories in a way that excites children
- Models’ language and vocabulary naturally -verbally and in writing
- Sees behaviour as indicative of an unmet need, and then tries to meet it
- When the going gets tough - gets going
- Smiles and patiently cares enough to go those extra steps that make a difference

Our EYFS environment has been recently refurbished to an enviable standard; we benefit from ample indoor and substantial outdoor space too. There is a strong culture of CPD in the school, our successful applicant can expect to benefit from a range of experiences and development opportunities.
