**Please note, due to the nature of the home we are looking for Male staff only at this stage.**

The Resourcing Hub is currently recruiting for 2 x Senior Therapeutic Support Workers to join their clients 2-bed EBD home based in the Salford area of Greater Manchester.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- You will be an excellent role model, display empathy, and patience, and provide commitment to our young people.
- Assisting in the promotion of good childcare practice in accordance with Policies and Procedures, Quality Standards and Children's Homes Regulations.
- Upholding Safeguarding procedures in all situations and be committed to all safeguarding training that may be required or necessary
- Taking and collecting the children from school and contact visits and other various occasions e.g. concerts, holidays and other outings.
- Actively promoting the welfare, safety, personal development and wellbeing of young people.
- Maintaining good communication skills, written and electronic records.
- Liaising with professionals on a day-to-day basis, participating in the assessment of the young person's needs and the implementation of care plans and risk assessments
- Promoting the participation of the child placed in the decision-making process of the home
- Ensuring the physical, emotional and psychological needs of children are met where at all possible
- Supporting and leading other staff members
- Planning the shift for the day and taking lead if and when issues arise within the home.

**Essential requirements**:

- Full UK Driving Licence
- Flexibility for shift work including weekdays, weekends and sleeps
- Previous experience working within a childrens residential environment
- Level 3/4 in Residential Childcare and/or Equivilent.

**Shift pattern & salary**:
2 day on - 3 day off shift pattern

Average 2 sleep in's per week paid at £50

Hourly rate is £11.00- salary advertised includes the sleep-in rate.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,080.00 per year
