We are actively recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to be based in a **specialist SEN primary school**. The students have complex needs such as **autism and profound and multiple learning difficulties**, therefore we are looking for a Teaching Assistant with some experience in SEN either personally or professionally.

The Teaching Assistants job will be to assist the pupils in their learning through the completion of **play centred activities and character building**. You will be instrumental in the development of these young people as they grow and progressinto adulthood.

The ideal Teaching Assistant would have:

- **Experience of supporting SEN** or those in care
- Commitment and **adaptability**to the role
- A **calm and patient** manner

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
