**The Company**

This market-leading fashion retailer is looking for a Junior / Merchandiser to join their Head Office team in the West. The business has a true omnichannel business in the fashion sector.

**The Role**

Your role as Junior / Merchandiser will be to develop, plan and deliver a commercially focused range alongside the Buying team to drive profit and enhance the brand's position.

**Key Responsibilities of this Junior / Merchandiser position -**
- Develops a long-term and short-term vision for the department, encompassing strategy, budget, and product
- Develops departmental sales, stock, intake, profit, and markdown plans in order to monitor and measure performance
- Responsible for managing trade between categories, optimizing sales and stock levels, and phasing intake in accordance with an agreed divisional and departmental plan through effective use of WISSI
- Establish an effective department Merchandising strategy by working closely with the Head of Merchandising
- Develop effective relationships with team members in Buying, Design, Product Technology, Retail, Marketing, and VM

**Requirements for this Junior / Merchandiser position -**
- Extensive experience in Merchandising at a Senior to Junior or ASsistant Merchandiser level
- Background within Fashion in the Retail, Ecommerce or B2C sector
- Knowledgeable of all merchandising processes
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel or WSSI experience
- Strong commercial awareness
