**About the role**:
As an HLTA, you will work closely with teachers and other members of the school staff to support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across the school. You will be responsible for leading interventions and supporting pupils in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, as well as supporting the planning and delivery of lessons. You will also be expected to contribute to the wider life of the school, including supporting with extra-curricular activities and events.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role of Higher-Level Teaching Assistant you will:

- Relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience of working in a school setting, preferably in a similar role.
- A thorough understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- An enthusiastic and proactive approach to supporting pupils' learning and development.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
**Key responsibilities**:
As Higher-Level Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:

- Supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across the school.
- Leading interventions and supporting pupils in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
- Supporting the planning and delivery of lessons.
- Contributing to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities and events.
- Monitoring and reporting on the progress and achievement of pupils.
- Upholding the school's values and ethos, and promoting the welfare and wellbeing of pupils.
