**_In this role you will_**
- Lead Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, finished products, and environmental samples following established procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Support investigations into microbiological anomalies and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Create and update documentation, including procedures, protocols, and reports.
Train and mentor junior staff in microbiological techniques and laboratory practices.
**_Why you? _**
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5 GCSEs, including Science or equivalent experience.
- Practical knowledge in at least one area of pharmaceutical microbiology (e.g., environmental monitoring, sterility testing, microbial identification).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- A Level in Science or equivalent qualification.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and relevant regulations.
- Experience in method development or validation.
