- 12 month Contract**

- Essex**
**Duties Include**:

- Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding - welding steel 5mm-30mm+
- Fabricating a range of products using various machines and power tools
- Producing accurate work
- Understanding and implementing fabrication and engineering drawings
- Marking out / Tack Weld ready to be checked by the group chargehand
- Examining work pieces for any possible defects
- Operating safety equipment and using safe working habits at all times
- Working to production targets to ensure company deadlines are met

**Qualifications**:

- City & Guilds / NVQ in Fabrication or Welding or similar or be QBE
- Demonstrable multi-skilled fabrication / welding experience
- Proven experience in MIG welding and thick metals
- Have an excellent understanding of welding codes and standards
- Be able to work well alone as well as part of a team
- Full understanding of health & safety and safe work behaviours in a manufacturing environment
