I'm currently working with a well-established and growing manufacturer based in Witham who are looking to bring ambitious individuals into their workshop team as Trainee Welder Fabricators. If you've recently completed a course in welding and fabrication, have some hands-on experience and you're keen to develop your career in a supportive, fast-paced environment, this could be the ideal role for you. This is a temporary to permanent position. Location: Witham Pay: Competitive trainee rate Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm Overtime: Weekdays at 1.33x | Saturdays at 1.5x Benefits: Free on-site parking, structured on-the-job training, clear progression routes What You'll Be Doing: Assisting with MIG welding tasks alongside experienced fabricators Learning fabrication techniques using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery Building confidence in reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings Gaining real-world experience in a busy production environment What We're Looking For: A qualification in welding or fabrication (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2+) A strong interest in mechanical or hands-on engineering work Previous workshop or practical experience (desirable but not essential) A proactive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their welding/fabrication career.
