**Title: Materials Coordinator / Buyer**

***NEW IN ONGOING DAY SHIFT** Our client based in Worcester who are the largest and most complete metals Additive Manufacturing (aka 3D Printing) facility, with many clients in the power generation business
- turbines both land based and aero engines, nuclear, solar and fuel cells. They specialise is in producing high quality materials particularly nickel superalloys and specialist steels.

**Duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Management of sub-contractor suppliers as well as material suppliers, ensuring materials are ordered on time and delivered in full and on time in order to support the businesses’ operational requirements.
- Ensure all required works orders are available to production as per schedule agreed with Production Scheduler.
- Develop a stock profile to ensure safety stock levels cover LT requirements.
- Develop and implement an efficient method for monitoring all open advice notes and purchase orders.
- Manage supplier overdue PO’s
- Prepare and manage the creation of purchase orders for all Production requirements.
- Communicate any supply problems which may impact on the business.
- Build on supplier relationships and formalise communication
- Understand and drive down supplier NCC’s
- Work closely with others on procurement related tasks
- Review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvement
- Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and
- Ensure works orders are created in line with the schedule procedures
- Maintain relationship with strategic procurement team.
- Attend all on site Daily stand-up meetings.

**Hours & Pay**:

- Monday to Friday 0800 - 1600
- £16.42
