Role Description

We are looking for an organised and proactive Project Coordinator to join our project team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple tasks, supporting project delivery, and ensuring smooth communication across teams.

You'll work closely with Project Managers, Assistant PMs and Project Facilitators, supporting day-to-day coordination, documentation, scheduling and communication to help ensure projects meet objectives and milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager
  • Develop a strong understanding of the project delivery process
  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the project team
  • Coordinate project activities, programming, equipment and information
  • Liaise with partner organisations to clarify project requirements, scope and objectives
  • Ensure client needs are understood and met throughout delivery
  • Manage and apply for TM (Traffic Management) permits
  • Create and process purchase orders for materials and equipment within budgets
  • Work with Project Facilitators to ensure documentation is completed accurately and on time
  • Create and maintain project documentation, RAMS, plans and reports
  • Monitor project progress and raise issues promptly with the Project Manager
  • Act as a point of contact for project updates and communication
  • Communicate with on-site staff, resolving queries and issues
  • Update and create worksheets within the CRM system
  • Support other projects across the business with ad-hoc tasks as required

Who we are looking for

  • Minimum 1 year's experience as a Project Coordinator or similar project support role
  • Minimum 1 year's experience using Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Minimum 2 years' administrative experience
  • Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude
  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • A committed team player who is eager to support others
  • Determination, persistence, and a proactive approach
  • Good planning and diary management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable sharing information and ideas openly
  • Experience in the wastewater industry (advantageous but not essential)
