**The Role**
***
- **The post holder will be responsible for the day to day safety of both themselves and that of the operatives and supply chain within their team. To ensure all health, safety and quality requirements are met.**:

- **Ensure you are engaged in the daily on-site risk assessment and are aware of health & safety issues identified and the controls that are in place.**:

- **Following your gangers daily briefings (5 minute briefing with the supervisor) ensure the relevant information is cascaded to you and that you are aware of the job details/ key aspects of work/ plant/ TM etc. requirements for the day.**:

- **Carry out planned works as per your ganger’s instruction.**

**About You**
***
- **Knowledge of and experience in, the maintenance, and implementation of highway maintenance works including statutory processes such as NRSWA.**:

- **Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with the operative workforce both internally and externally.**:

- **Ability to work with minimum supervision with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.**
