We now have a vacancy at our busy Transport department at Stoke-on-Trent for a Transport Administration Operative.
**Main purpose of role**:
Processing and responding to all customer enquires assigned to Stoke transport dept.
**Operational responsibilities**:
Insert and update Transport charges in each assigned job, including additional charges as agreed and authorised.
Maintain accurate administrative and computer records, general administration.
Liaise with the Transport team to ensure that all freight is dispatched in accordance with it required routing and service requirements.
Resolving and managing queries and complaints courteously and efficiently.
First point of contact for European Import Department per location.
Sortation of Transport documentation.
Label and ticket generation and sortation.
Any duties / tasks as requested by your Line Manager or a Director.
**Shift Hours**: Between 06:00 and 19:00 depending on office requirements. 8 hours each day.
**Salary**: £DOE
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: Up to £23,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
