**Job Title**: PFG Transport Administrator
**Location: **Fenton Stoke On Trent
**Reports To**:Transport Manager & Directors.
Job Summary: The PFG Transport Administrator is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective movement of vehicles, managing driver schedules, addressing attendance and disciplinary issues, handling customer complaints and instructions, managing fleet costs, and ensuring route profitability and optimization. This role also involves covering driving duties when necessary, launching new initiatives, and training and developing the delivery team.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Vehicle Movement: Coordinate the movement of vehicles to and from workshops, ensuring timely maintenance and repairs.
- Driver Rota Management: Create and manage driver schedules, ensuring optimal coverage and adherence to regulations.
- Attendance and Disciplinary Issues: Address attendance issues and manage disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies.
- Customer Complaints and Instructions: Handle customer complaints and instructions, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions. Update bespoke notes as required.
- Fleet Cost Management: Monitor and manage fleet costs, implementing strategies to reduce expenses and improve efficiency.
- Driver Coverage: Act as a cover driver for any route within the business as needed.
- Working hours to the need of the business - self management of hours based on the daily requirements and responsibilites.
- Initiative Launch: Launch new initiatives across the delivery team to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
- Recruitment, Training and Development: Recruit drivers and helpers that will have the customer at the forefront of all decision, Coach, Mentor, Train and develop the delivery team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Responsible for twice weekly driver card downloads and Bimonthly Vehicle downloads - review data and act accordingly where needed.
- Tacho Infringements Management: Work with the transport manager to manage tacho infringements, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Cost Control and Route Profitability: Implement cost control measures and optimize routes to maximize profitability
- Route Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Daily route sequencing
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in transport administration or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in using transport management software and tools.

Pay: £26,255.00-£27,050.70 per year
