**We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Health & Safety and Wellbeing Apprentice to help support the Health & Safety and Wellbeing Manager to develop, implement and monitor The Original Factory Shop’s H&S and Wellbeing tasks and policies.**

**This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in three key areas of our business, to collaborate with people of all levels and learn new highly sought after skills.**

**You will be based in the North West of England within **a commutable distance of our Burnley office,** for face to face meeting requirements however we do operate a hybrid working model allowing you to work from home or from our Support Centre. Due to the nature of this role, there will be a need for you to on occasion visit our local stores.**

**What you will be doing**:
Health & Safety
- Learning the H&S Systems we use in Store, Warehouse & Offices.
- Experience working in the 3 areas of the business.
- Joining meetings with safety reps, keeping notes from the meetings, follow ups and comms to depts.
- Collate information from audits, action points, training systems and on compliance.
- Communicate and work with different people in the business Heads of Dept, Managers, colleagues in the Warehouse, Support Centre and stores.
- Project work.

Wellbeing
- Independently research into monthly events for the Wellbeing Team and manage the calendar.
- Become a Wellbeing advocate joining meetings keeping the meeting notes.
- Join the Wellbeing Team in organised events.

**Requirements**:

- Some work previous work experience - whether that be an office, warehouse, or store.
- Superb communication skills - both oral and written.
- Confidence in speaking to people at all different levels.
- Demonstrable creative flair and idea generation.
- Strong attention to detail.
