**Are you an experienced Design Estimator with previous Fire & Security industry experience?**

We are working with the UK’S largest privately owned independent security company who provides unique and innovative solutions to meet individual client needs in both the private and public sectors. Established 25 years ago, the company operates a nationalbranch network and 500+ employees.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager (South), you will be working with the Sales Team to produce comprehensive system designs and estimates / quotations for new tenders and projects. The proposals are based around the design, supply, installation andmaintenance of electronic security systems and fire protection which are typically:

- CCTV
- Access control
- Door Entry & Warden Call
- Integrated Systems
- Active Fire and EML Systems
- Intruder Alarm
- Public Address
- TV Aerial systems
- Cabling Infrastructure
- IP Networks

You should have extensive knowledge of the core systems within the Electronic Fire & Security Industry and previous experience using; AutoCAD to produce comprehensive designs, MS Excel for quotes and MS Word for proposal writing.

**Key Skills**:

- Ability to turn a customer requirement into a quotation for inclusion in formal sales proposals.
- Ability to communicate with Clients and Piers at a high level.
- Site survey and accurate measurement of requirements.
- Design and price for proposals and tenders.
- Consideration of a commercial approach to optimise success.
- Understanding of fire and security systems design and pricing.
- Ability to develop conceptual designs through to quotations.
- Ability to produce high quality sales proposals.
- Full IT skills MS Word / Excel is a must.
- Ability to manage themselves and operate company policies and processes.

Whilst the position is based in Romford there is flexibility to work from home but attendance in the office will be required a minimum of 2-3 days per week.
