**The role of Head of Content Marketing**:
This is a new position within the organisation, designed to bring together the sales and marketing functions, create a best-in-class B2B commercial content marketing strategy, and drive business growth. The Head of Content Marketing will report to the Headof Marketing and work closely with the Sales Director and other senior stakeholders.
The first 3 months will include a complete audit of the existing content marketing materials (limited), meeting with senior stakeholders to establish key goals, and coming up with an appropriate strategy to meet those goals.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Content Marketer to take on a lead role and do have a lot of autonomy around the content that the business are creating.
**Day to day responsibilities of the Head of Marketing include**:
- Native English speaker, with excellent English grammar, punctuation and spelling skills.
- 6+ years of B2B content marketing experience, including knowledge of building communities and content strategies from scratch. Subject matter expertise in B2B industry trends.
- Excellent writing, editing, storytelling, visual communications and technical skills with the ability to write original, engaging copy on a range of topics.
- Experience managing freelancers to create compelling content that tell the story to our stakeholders;
- Identify and measure key KPIs and metrics to continuously improve performance
- Strong social media marketing experience (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok) to engage and grow communities.
- Writing copy for the website and working with external copywriters to keep website and brand assets super engaging
- Strong collaborator who understands how to work with different people to help them meet deadlines, generate content and develop their point of view.
The ability/desire to manage and mentor junior team members as we grow in size.
**To be considered for this role you must have**:
- Successfully created and delivered a commercial B2B content marketing strategy
- Worked closely with sales functions and understand how to work best with them
- Experience of implementing broad, B2B, content marketing campaigns from start to finish
- Excellent written and verbal English skills (additional languages a benefit)
- Been the lead marketer in a regional or global marketing role
