QA Inspector

**Job Title**:QA Inspector

Reports to: Plant QA Manager

**Overall Role Purpose**

The purpose of the role is to check the quality of the end product against customer specifications and advise Operators of any deviations.

**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**
- Checks the quality of the end product against customer specifications.
- Informs relevant Operators of any deviations from customer specifications, and liase with them to bring the quality of the product up to customer specifications.
- Inputs data from quality checks into Excel /QA system, and completes reference batch sheets.
- Maintains the cleanliness of own working area.
- Completes a thorough handover at the end of each shift to counterpart on following shift.
- Ensures own work and own team’s work is compliant with relevant legal, health and safety, environmental and human resources policies, procedures, objectives and regulations.
- Any other reasonable task as requested by your supervisor/manager

**Job Skills, Qualifications & Experience**

**Qualifications**

Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent).

Lamb Weston chemical training, H+S,GMP and Food Safety desirable

**Experience**

2-3 years’ product-specific food manufacturing experience.

Quality control experience.

SAP/SCADA experience.

Experience of Microsoft Excel.
