This essential role is integral to the smooth operation of the finance department, making ita perfect opportunity for somebody looking to make their impact and implement essential internal controls.

The key duties include:

- Taking full responsibility for the annual budget setting process to ensure the organisation is receiving the best value for all money spent
- Providing key insight into the financial and operational processes across the department to implement improvements, ensuring they are transparent
- Holding full line management responsibility over the Financial Accountant, ensuring their draft statutory reports are reviewed
- Taking full accountability for all financial reports, ensuring all figures are accurate and in line with legislation
- Ensuring all key financial and internal controls are in place to prevent corruption by actioning relevant risk assessments where required
- An experienced finance professional with a background in financial administration and audit
- Knowledgeable in the year-end process and regulatory frameworks
- Resilient and self-motivated with the ability to use your initiative
