Located on the corner of Oxford Street and Park Lane, we pay tribute to former residents such as Jimi Hendrix, Diana Ross, Bob Dylan and Buddy Holly with an incredible memorabilia collection and original artwork in every bedroom.
The hotel boasts an onsite Hard Rock Cafe, Hard Rock Cocktail Bar, Hotel GMT Bar and a Rock Royalty Lounge. So, whether our guests are ready to rock London's nightlife, enjoy a well-earned family holiday, host that all-important business meeting or indulge in a romantic evening for two, they will find everything they need '“ because, in the end, everyone wants to be treated like a rock star.
**The Role**:
The Vibe Executive is responsible for supporting the property in all technical aspects of music and video. This person creates an exceptional climate of guest-oriented entertainment and works to ensure effective utilization of music, video, and technology across the property. - Running audio and lighting during live performances 5 nights per week. - Coordinating with an external provider, or additional sound engineers for the remaining 2 nights per week, ensuring that we have engineers who can use our sound system in the café to the best of its abilities. - Advancing audio and video specs and requirements for special events, liaising with the Vibe Manager, as well as the Meeting and Events teams. - Running audio for special events. - Running lighting for smaller special events, and when necessary, working with clients and the M&E team to provide our external specialist lighting director for events requiring custom lighting. - Communicating with the Vibe Manager, and external vendors about the installation, and functioning of the AV systems in all Hotel and Café spaces including the lobby, café, elevators, toilets, gym, and televisions in guest rooms. - Working with the Vibe Manager and Meeting & Events Team to identify opportunities for additional event spaces in the property and providing their technical expertise in the initial development and design process of any audio/live production upgrades to M&E Spaces. - Deputise Vibe Department in Vibe Manager’s absence. - Assist vibe manager in finding talent and coordinating with external booking agents. - Provide feedback on acts to ensure they meet property and guest expectations - Maintaining the audio and live production equipment in those M&E spaces. - Monitor, and adjust music playlists, adapted to location, time of day and Vibe. - Evaluate and adjust guest experiences as it relates to the technical aspects of music entertainment based on interaction with guests and guest feedback. - Enhance group business experience through customization.
