Estates Support Officer - Specialist Services Band 3 - 37.5 - WCH

The Estates Support Officer - Specialist Servicesis part of the Estates Specialist Services team within the Estates and Facilities directorate. The Estates Support Officer - Specialist Servicesprovides administrative duties to the Specialist Services team, duties includes resolving day to day problems independently, acts as the first point of contact for enquiries from service users and completing audits within the Trusts property portfolio. The Estates Support Officer will provide administrative duties to enable the Estates Manager to deliver the net zero targets for the Trust. This will involve monitoring electricity, gas and water consumption within the Trust’s property portfolio. Assisting in the delivery of the Trust Green Travel Plan and other specific projects within the team. The Estates Support Officer will provide administrative duties to assist with waste management including ward and desk top audits for all waste produced as a result of the Trust’s activities.

Support the Estates Manager with the Trust sustainability function, providing validation of the Green Plan through the capture, monitoring and reporting relevant and accurate metrics or data sets together with active stakeholder participation and engagement to identify resource savings opportunities. Undertake routine waste audits to support the waste officer, audit and inspect operational waste measures, including annual pre-acceptance and duty of care audits.

Good interpersonal skills are important for dealing with colleagues and external visitors, as is the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Support the Estates Manager with the Trust sustainability function, Collect, collate and analyse sustainability metrics and management information using assessment tools, benchmarking techniques, supplier, invoices, utility meter readings, travel and transport analytics, etc. Undertake full desk top audits of consignment notes, destruction certificates and quarterly returns, highlighting any inconsistences to the Trust’s waste Officer Assist in the production of written and verbal reports as required on performance.
