Chelsea, United Kingdom Hub Property Care Full time

ABOUT US

At Hub Property Care we are changing how trades are delivered to the residential property market. We believe that engineers should be respected for their professional skills and we strive to provide the best possible service to our customers. Our customers agree that we are different and that’s why we are growing so quickly.

What do we mean by that?
- Firstly, all of our people are skilled professionals who have relevant experience gained in their given trade
- Our clients and customers value our opinion and actively seek our advice on their property needs
- We work to a set menu of prices so that there is always clarity and consistency over charges
- Our engineers always arrive when we say they will
- And, we guarantee all of our work for 12 months

In short, we turn up on time, are smart in appearance and in mind, engage with the customer and build strong relationships. Our business is not a ‘get in, get out’ quick fix. We take time to understand properties and systems. We want to investigate the underlying problems and identify any future issues that there might be. Then we fix, repair and recommend. It’s an all-round service and not a quick-fix game.

This is all important for our customers who generally own or manage high-end residential property in and around the Chelsea / West London area. Mostly, we work for property managers who look after quality residences from small flats to multi-million houses.

THE ROLE

We are recruiting someone a new role that will manage the parts side of our business. Our goal, is to make our engineers’ as efficient as possible. We don’t want them spending time sourcing parts for jobs, or worse leaving jobs to go and purchase from suppliers which is unproductive and largely unbillable time.

The key responsibilities would be:

- To manage the ordering and supply of parts and materials to jobs.
- To control the stock of parts and materials at efficient levels.
- To ensure that all orders are accompanied by purchase orders and that appropriate records are kept for all stock and purchases.
- To manage relationships with merchant suppliers, both physical and online, to ensure the most efficient and cost effective sourcing of parts and materials.
- To organize the logistic of parts and materials supply to ensure timely delivery in accordance with job timescales.

You will, ideally, have experience of the property maintenance industry. You may already have relationships with the major suppliers; we have accounts at most local merchants. You must be computer proficient, organised and have the personal skills to deal with engineers and form good relationships with suppliers. Lastly, the role is based in our office in Chelsea and you will be expected to work on-site and in various locations nearby and so live within commutable distance.

Most importantly, we are looking for people who want to be a part of our business. People who have enquiring minds and want to learn. People who enjoy working within a team.

In short, you bring the attitude and we will bring the work and provide a place you can make the most of your potential.
