Financial Controller – High-End Restaurant Group

SW London, UK | Full-time | £75,000

We're a growing, high-end hospitality group with two standout London venues: the award-winning 'Prince Arthur' in Belgravia and the newly opened 'Arthurs Market' in Chelsea. We are a young passionate group with ambitious plans, and to help us achieve that growth we're now looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to take ownership of the finance function, working directly with the company shareholders to ensure the financial health and growth of the business.

From managing day-to-day operations like budgeting, cash flow, and reporting, to building smart financial systems that scale as we grow. This is a hands-on Financial Controller role, is suited to someone who loves being close to the numbers, the people, and the operation. You'll play a key part in influencing strategy, ensuring financial health, and supporting the next chapter of our story.

Responsible For:

  • Managing supplier invoicing, payments, and cashflow.
  • Producing clear financial reports for the shareholders.
  • Monitoring stock and GP margins with precision.
  • Ensuring compliance with UK hospitality finance rules.
  • Advising on cashflow, margins, and growth strategy.

You'll Bring:

  • Experience as a Financial Controller (or similar) in hospitality.
  • Deep knowledge of tronc, stock control, and seasonal cashflow.
  • Excellent understanding of financial controls, accounting principles, and UK compliance.
  • A hands-on attitude.
  • The confidence to work directly with shareholders.

Additional Information:

  • This is a senior, hands-on role in a lean team.
  • Some travel between sites may be required.
  • Working hours may occasionally include evenings or weekends during month-end or key operational periods.
