Seven Social Care is looking for a Social Worker Assistant to fill an exclusive opportunity in Leeds

**The role**:
Supporting vulnerable children and families with a range of issues that maybe negatively affecting their lives.

Working under the oversight of Social Workers in making enquiries of alleged neglect, abuse or ill-treatment of children and supporting with a wide range of assessments (including pre-birth assessments, risk assessments and Child and Family Assessment).

**Key Responsibilities**:
To undertake preventive family work offering guidance and support, in conjunction with the Social Worker and/or Team Manager.

Preparing written records and assessments of your observations and interactions with children and their families. As these reports may be used in the court arena, they are required to be of a high standard.

Facilitating and supervising family time between children who are looked after and their families, with a best practice approach.

Transporting children and families to medical examinations, appointments, meetings and family time sessions where necessary.

Must be a care driver and have access to their own vehicle

**Applicant Requirements**:

- **Experience**:2+ years
- **Compliance**:Up to date registration and DBS.
- **Travel**:Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
- **Hours**:37.5 hours p/w.
