This is an operationally led field based role with the purpose of improving the profitability of underperforming shops; supporting Regional Managers & Operational Directors in the convergence of the bottom stores on all areas of loss including unknown on Market Street.

Some accountabilities include:
**Customer**:

- Support and coach shops on loss processes that also support with better availability
- Work with Regional leadership to understand trends and underperforming stores across metrics such as complaints and sales
- Maintain awareness of loss and delivery of the loss reduction plan
- Represent at regional forums to continuously drive the loss reduction agenda
- Ensure colleagues are challenged when inconsistent service is witnessed while driving the Loss Prevention agenda

**Colleague**:

- Work with colleagues at the shelf edge coaching great performance
- Support and coach management teams in store, building relationships and ensuring loss is on the store agenda
- Lead live streams and digital workshops where necessary

**Operational**:

- Build improvement plans that deal with the root cause of underperformance
- Provide deep fix assistance to the processes that are in place to limit losses in stores and create sustained improvements
- Continuously review the key performance indicators and supporting data to ensure resource is aligned to loss risks accordingly
- Draw in support from other parts of the team, wider team, and wider departments where required to deliver the loss reduction agenda

**Sales, profit and cash**:

- Deliver targets in underperforming stores to support delivery of the business loss targets
- About You

**We're looking for someone who has**:
**Knowledge**:

- Understanding of waste processes and routines
- Full knowledge of shrink and lock down processes
- Security systems and physical security solutions
- Audit & stocktake processes

**Skills**:

- Root cause analysis and investigation
- Influencing and coaching
- Time management and prioritisation
- Use of technology systems and business data
- Report and action plan writing

**Experience**:

- Shrink and waste management
- Delivering results against targets
- Working to deadlines
- Influencing stakeholders
