Here at **Mainsgill Farmshop** we are on the search for **Delicatessen Assistants **to join our growing farm shop retail team.

Located on the A66, 4 miles west of Scotch Corner in Richmond North Yorkshire, we are a family-run, award winning flagship farmshop and tearoom which continues to grow each year. We use our own home-reared meats from the family farm in our tearoom, as well as quality local produce. Our farmshop is brimming with our homemade produce from our artisan kitchen, home-reared meats from the farm, and a vast range of unique food and drinks. We pride ourselves on providing the highest standards of customer service, and all our team working together to go the extra mile for each visitor.

Our farmshop is a busy and popular destination, with an array of customers each day. Our customers visit for a unique shopping experience, with fresh food at the centre. Our central counter is showcased in the heart of our granary food hall on the ground floor. As our customers enter Mainsgill, they see our grand deli counter brimming with fresh foods from our artisan kitchen and award-winning butchers.

**Main responsibilities include**:

- Serving customers and maintaining our excellent levels of customer service
- Provide customers with a welcoming, efficient and knowledgeable service
- Stock rotation and replenishment of fresh foods
- Maintaining excellent levels of food hygiene and cleanliness
- Following all procedures and protocols for food safety
- Working and communicating alongside our kitchen team and chefs
- Working and communicating alongside our farmshop team

- Sociable daytime hours, 7:30am start - 5:00pm finish
- No split shifts
- No evening work
- To work 3, 4 or 5 days each week. One working day to be either a Saturday or Sunday each week. (Days off are 1x day at the weekend, day(s) off during the week)
- No rota, set days each week (allowing you to plan day-off activities ahead)
- Guaranteed agreed hours week in, week out (no zero-hour contracts)
- Paid lunch break, where lunch is provided
