- **Competitive hourly rates of pay**:

- Full time: 5 days, to include one day of the weekend
- Set days each week, no shift change/rotation
- 9.5 Hour shift (7:30am - 5:00pm). Includes paid lunch break.

You will be responsible for
- Prepping fresh foods
- Making fresh sandwiches/take away foods/fresh cakes
- Assisting our chefs and bakers
- Packing our fresh foods for direct sale
- Serving customers on our fresh bakery stand
- Replenishing cakes/fresh foods onto shop floor

You must be able to
- work within a team
- work and communicate well with others
- Must take pride in delivering high standards of cooking
- Have an excellent attention to detail
- follow all procedures and practice excellent hygiene practices
- Must enjoy working in a busy, fast paced, buzzing environment

Our latest expansion, opened in November 2021, sees our food hall grow in size. Located on our ground floor, our food hall is a fresh and unique food paradise. Our fresh food counters take centre stage, all filled with our home reared meats from out in-house butchery department, and home made pies, cakes and much more.

Excellent opportunity to work within our growing award-winning kitchen. All our meals and produce are prepared fresh in our kitchen using our home reared meats and quality fresh produce. Our cooks produce fresh food for both our kitchen, and for our fresh food counter in food hall to the highest standards.

Training given on the job, and is on going throughout your time at Mainsgill.

As a Bakery Assistant, you will be an essential part of our culinary team, responsible for food preparation and baking tasks that contribute to the creation of high-quality baked goods. Reporting to the managerial team, your core skills in food safety, cooking, and kitchen experience will ensure that all products meet our standards. Your premium skills in food production will enhance efficiency, while relevant restaurant experience will help you thrive in our fast-paced environment.
