About the role
We are looking to recruit a business support administrator to work and support the School Attendance and Inclusion Team, a fast paced and busy team within the Children and Young People’s Directorate.
The role will include working with multiple workstreams, using CAPITA One to open cases, make allocations as they come into our service, keeping accurate and up to date records.
What will you be doing?
You will be allocated tasks by the Business Support team leader which include:
- Logging exclusions and sending relevant information,
- Processing and sending letters;
- Issuing of fixed penalty notices and payments;
- Logging reduced timetables,
- Children Missing from Education,
- Electively home Educated pupils;
- Data cleansing; and
- Responding to general enquiries.
About you
You will be highly organised individual with the ability to prioritise workload.
The ability to build positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders is key to effective practice and you will be able to problem solve, work under pressure at key points in the year and maintain a key sense of humour
