Enable Data management chapter and tooling team (Voxel Metadata ) to gather requirements and identify and deliver dependent roadmaps
- Coordinate the work of other Enterprise Data Specialists to ensure alignment and integration.
- Work collaboratively to research and understand business functional requirements
- Confirm governance standard is adhered and evangelise tooling governance and chapter governance for the wider EDM
- Promote good practice on EDM by aligning with data catalog / data quality and other data tooling initiatives
- Review process developed by EDM team and ensure alignment across all data teams
- Monitor and report project risks/ issues and dependencies
- Working with the platform data management chapter to provide input from an enterprise data perspective
- Work with EDM team and Chapters to align the Data profiling and lineage initiative
- Communicating and co-ordinating efforts to deliver Enterprise Data modelling initiative
- Escalating and reporting appropriately and manage forums to provide timely updates
- Participating in design reviews to ensure data model adherence and data standards compliance
- Participating in the Data Governance function to ensure data stewards concerns are addressed
- Participate in all team initiatives to review early data model designs, integration data flows, data uploads and transformation designs and participate in testing.

**Qualifications**:

- _Required: _ An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors / Honours degree or equivalent) in a relevant technical discipline.
- _Desirable: _ Qualification in information science, data management, computer science

**Role specific knowledge**
- Data modelling and enterprise data management skills including data governance, data optimization and data quality and with some experience with enterprise tools dedicated to those tasks.
- Sound knowledge and experience in relational databases, data modelling techniques and tools.
- Good working knowledge of data warehousing concepts and cloud technology implementation is advantageous

**Operations**:

- Advanced: Enterprise data management governance, data optimisation, quality processes and enterprise tools
- ER studio or Erwin or equivalent tools and Collibra/Atacama preferable
- Proficient: Use of modelling tools to convey concepts, architectures and design.
- Proficient: Microsoft Azure Data Lake Store & Azure DevOps
- Proficient: Relational databases and data modelling
- Proficient: Agile project management methods and practices
- Proficient: Business improvement techniques to identify key areas for improvement
- Developing: Internal communication channels within a large, multinational organization

**Salary**: £550.00-£600.00 per day
