Job Description

At Basware, we're transforming how enterprises manage their invoice lifecycle. As the global leader in Invoice Lifecycle Management, we help businesses streamline invoicing processes, ensure compliance, prevent fraud, and optimize cash flow. Our mission is to empower organizations with full control over their invoice ecosystem—ensuring that only reconciled and approved supplier invoices are paid.

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Enterprise Data Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of enterprise data and reporting capabilities at Basware. This role will focus on capturing business requirements for key performance indicators (KPIs) and reports, designing logical data models to support these needs, ensuring data quality, and driving continuous improvement in reporting outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with business functions, enterprise system owners, data platform engineers, and reporting specialists to identify and document reporting needs and KPIs
  • Facilitate workshops and perform interviews to understand kpi and reporting needs to translate them into data requirements
  • Maintain a prioritized backlog of reporting and data reporting requests.

2. Logical Data Model Design

  • Maintain and enhance the Basware logical data model that supports enterprise reporting and KPI frameworks
  • Work closely with the enterprise architects, data platform architects and data platform engineers to ensure alignment between logical and physical data models
  • Ensure scalability, consistency, and reusability of data structures across domains.

3. KPI & Report Quality Measurement

  • Define and implement metrics to assess the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and relevance of data producing KPIs and reports
  • Establish automated monitoring and validation processes to ensure data integrity
  • Partner with data domain owners and system owners to enforce standards and resolve data quality issues.

4. Continuous Improvement & Optimization

  • Analyze data quality metrics and feedback to identify improvement areas in existing reports and dashboards
  • Lead initiatives to enhance user experience, reduce report latency, and improve data trustworthiness.

5. Product Lifecycle Management

  • Own the roadmap for enterprise data and reporting KPI's and reports
  • Manage cross-functional delivery teams including data engineers, reporting specialists, system owners, and data domain owners
  • Ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements aligned with business priorities.
