**Senior Analytical Chemist** **£35,000 - £55,000 (Commensurate with experience) + Excellent Benefits** **Based in Berkshire** Do you have extensive experience in the development and validation of HPLC/UPLC analytical methodology? Would you like to work for pharmaceutical company with a global presence? My client is a multi-national company with their R&D centre of excellence in based in Berkshire. They work in the research, development and manufacture of novel drug products, and due to continued growth are looking to hire a Senior Analytical Chemist. In thisrole you would facilitate new product development & manufacture through the provision of analytical expertise, and play a key role in the running of the Analytical Chemistry Laboratory. Working as the technical expert is a specialist team, the Senior Analytical Chemist will design and carry out HPLC/ UPLC method development and validation in support of development projects. In this role you will take the lead on projects supporting andtraining less experienced members of the team, as well as collaborating on global development projects. Whilst this is a laboratory based role, this would suit a technical expert who wants to work as a technical specialist and help shape the scientific provision and future of the analytical chemistry department. Responsibilities of the Senior Analytical Chemist include: - Conduct method development and optimisation on analytical methods supporting synthesis and R&D activities, specifically using HPLC/ UPLC. - Run method development studies and troubleshoot analytical methods. - Act as a scientific leader training and coaching other Analytical Chemists - Review and write qualification protocols, SOPs and reports. - Run and oversee a range of analysis using techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, NMR, GC, UV and IR. To be considered for the Senior Analytical Chemist role, you will need the following skills and experience; - Extensive experience in HPLC/UPLC analysis and method development troubleshooting. - Extensive experience in method validation and analytical data interpretation. - Experience working in a Pharmaceutical GMP environment is highly desirable. - Excellent communication, team working and organisation skills are essential Key words: "HPLC, UPLC, Analytical Chemistry, Lead Chemist, Principal Scientist, Stability, GMP, Method Development, Method Validation, ICH, GC, Senior Scientist, NMR, FTIR, FDA, MHRA, GMP, cGMP, Pharmaceutical, Berkshire"
