**The opportunity**
- Join a newly created team at Miller in a growth-oriented initiative
- A strategic role, and working with insurer prospects end-to-end - through identifying strategic gaps to presenting insights, working with Miller colleagues to understand appetite and with insurer clients to identify opportunities and propose plans of engagement

**The role**
- Support the Head of Market Management with the development and management of Miller’s strategic re/insurer relationships.
- Work through the full sales process - identifying prospects, developing compelling proposals, meeting budget, ongoing management and growth of accounts.
- Create and execute engagement plans, recording key activities and evidencing the delivery of required services.
- Alongside account management, run projects that are key to our proposition, including but not limited to:

- External data dashboard
- Miller Broker Survey
- Support the training of other team members, acting as a role model to drive high performance.
- Responsible for ensuring all compliance/regulatory requirements are met.
- Remain aware of the market - competitor offerings, market trends, potential changes/risks in the industry that affect the division/company and how we work.
- Constantly think of ways to innovate the proposition, the way we present and interpret data and engage with our key partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal (broking teams, legal, operations etc) and external stakeholders (insurers, regulators, brokers).
- Attend and represent Miller at external events/networking opportunities.
- Promote Miller brand and values to enhance Miller’s reputation in the market.
- Comply with any external rules and requirements imposed on individuals performing their role at Miller, such as Lloyd’s byelaws and FCA rules.
- Cert CII qualification preferable
- Understanding of general principles of insurance
- Understanding of London market operations
- Awareness of regulatory environment and requirements e.g FCA, GDPR, competition rules
- Understanding of how the market management division enables the objectives of a brokerage
- Previous experience in insurance industry is essential
- Experience in an account management or business development role
- Experience of a high pressured, multi-tasking environment
- Comfortable in presenting to senior stakeholders
