Gapp is acting as an employment business, currently recruiting for a **Team Leader ** role for our well-established Client based in **Heywood, OL10.**
**Pay £11.50/h**
**Hours are 8/9am to 5:30pm**

Job Description and requirements

Position/s: Team Leader
- Checking deliveries in and out of the warehouse (overseeing inbound and outbound operations)
- Working with an inbound tracker
- Working with Warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Preparing goods received notes and checking them into the WMS
- Monitor accuracy and organisation during unloading and inspection of all inbound and returned goods.
- Control of incoming orders
- Labelling shipments
- Picking and packing from Pick lists
- Breaking down pallets
- Building pallets as per specific client SOP
- General admin including data entry
- Responsible for supporting the Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Manager with day to day activities.
- Supervise pickers and packers and ensure that operations are running effectively.
- Responsible for keeping track of absences for all staff reporting to you - reporting any patterns or areas of concern to the Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Manager.
- Supporting with/conducting RTW Meetings where required.
- Responsible for managing holidays for all staff reporting to you, making sure holidays are well planned and appropriate cover is available to run each shift well.
- Planning workloads and delegating task and production work
- Responsible for evaluating the performance of all staff reporting to you
- Supporting with/conducting performance meetings/probation and annual review meetings where required.
- Knowledge of safety regulations for staff and the line of production
- Regular cycle counts
- Completion of daily orders received within the agreed timeframe(s) - ensuring that the days SLA are all with in scope.
- Completion of goods received within the agreed timeframe(s).
- Ensuring all orders are packed to a high standard, using the correct packaging and dispatched within the agreed timeframe(s).
- End of day reports to be completed daily
- Daily H&S checks to be conducted
- Ensure cleaning schedules are up to date and signed
- Deliver training all staff reporting to you (utilising W. I’s and SOPS)
- Log colleague time and attendance and submit weekly to the HR Department
- Support client implementation.
- Capturing out of scope production hours
- Managing freight BOL’s
- Working with B2C and B2B (VAS) using prepaid labels.

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour
