The commercial team are looking to fill the role of **Senior Credit Controller** in their Hull facility. The **Senior Credit Controller** is a key position reporting into the Financial Controller, they will work 40 hours, Monday to Thursday 08:30am - 17:00pm, Friday 08:30am - 16:00pm.

IPL Hull was built in the millennium year and there are employees working today who witnessed the first brick being laid Our Hull location is an experienced leader in the injection and blow moulding industry housing state of the art blow moulding machines and a modern fleet of injection moulding machines. IPL Hull takes initiative on providing eco-friendly solutions and pride themselves on delivering products specifically tailored to their customers' needs. Key products include the “One Nest” stacking crate, jerry cans, Water Butt, composter, kerbside boxes, food waste containers and nestable bale arm trays.

**Position Title**:Senior Credit Controller**

**Location: Hull**

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Strategically manage AR accounts.
- Setting up new customer accounts and assessing risk in order to set credit limits and payment terms.
- Chase overdue/Aged Debtors for around 400 accounts.
- Establish and build strong relationships with your customer-base to ensure prompt payment and efficient query resolution.
- Maintain a clean ledger, minimise overdue debt, and maximise cash receipts.
- Pro-actively manage customer and colleague relationships including all queries. through to resolution.
- Collect and allocate incoming payments.
- Reporting of your ledger to the management team.
- Additional tasks to support wider Credit and Finance team.
- Partner with Customer Service to manage accounts.

- Advanced excel for report manipulation & KPI tracking.
- Excellent communication, prioritisation and organisational skills.
- Stakeholder management skills to work closely with the Finance & Customer service teams.
- Analytical skills.
- Familiarity with data entry and analysis.
- Ability to listen to customers and negotiate solutions.
