The Post Room is open to receive post, courier deliveries and for the distribution of parcel post throughout the day.

The Role:
To help provide a flexible, efficient and professional post room service for students living in UPP accommodation at Exeter University.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To be responsible for the receipt, sorting, distribution and management of mail & parcels for residents.
- Maintain and update various records and registers both manual and computerised as required. Provide appropriate notification of post to customers as required.
- Ensure that the working environment is properly maintained and kept tidy at all times
- To provide prompt and effective help, information, advice for all customers, and staff.
- Assist with the safety and security of the post whilst on duty by following the correct procedures at all times.
- To assist with reception duties as and when requested.
- Undertake training as required
- Be flexible in providing cover at other receptions - UPP manage 3 receptions across the campus.

Other
- You have a duty to ensure that you work safely and do not endanger yourself or anyone else by what you do, or fail to do, in the course of your work.
- You must cooperate with UPP on health and safety matters and comply with all UPP and local rules, and not interfere with or misuse anything provided for health, safety and welfare.
