An opportunity to join a leading Wholesale Brokers has become available for a Policy Technician to join the Worldwide Property Team.
As the Policy Technician you will help enhance the service provided to their clients by producing policy documentation, checking MRC slips and endorsements and checking the policy documents before they are submitted to the bureau.
Part of the role as the Policy Technician will involve analysis of the MRCs' to ensure clarity of the placement and incorporate policy documentation.
As the experienced Policy Technician, you will liaise with Brokers, Clients and Underwriters, establishing the extent of the coverage required and then be able to create bespoke documents where appropriate. You will check policy documents prior to submissionand review any returning e-policy documents for correct market attachment. You will also deal with an questions arising from the bureau.
You will also be involved in training and assisting other team members and work alongside management on the development and amendment of templates.
Keeping up to date with market and regulatory knowledge and tax requirements relating to the portfolio are key and you will ensure compliance with external and internal guidelines.
As the policy technician you will have experience of handling wordings in respect of worldwide open market business, knowledge of total objects, tracking and documentation skills. You will also have an understanding of regulatory and tax requirements in theterritories concerned, using Crystal where appropriate.
