**Funding & Compliance Officer**
**Location**: Access Creative College Central Office M2 2AS
**Reporting to**: Head of Funding and Compliance
**Responsible for**: Apprenticeships
**Hours**:37.5 hours per week
**Salary**: £26,284

**Purpose of Post**

To be responsible to the Head of Funding and Compliance to support the provision of a comprehensive and customer focussed service for internal and external clients in respect of Apprenticeship learner data and systems with a specific focus on the Digital Apprenticeship Service and Apprenticeship funding and compliance for Access Creative College and its partners.

You will assist the Head of Funding and Compliance in the end to end validation of all Apprenticeship learner data, ensuring timeliness to support robust and accurate funding claims.

**Main tasks**

1. To input, validate and maintain complete, accurate and timely learner records consistent with the data and funding audit guidance issued by external agencies.

2. To support the Funding and Compliance Team in the following main areas: - Assessing Apprenticeship learner funding eligibility - Apprenticeship learner data validation - Apprenticeship funding eligibility and compliance - Validating/processing Apprenticeship

data amendments - Checking OTJ audit and process compliance - Validating the off the job hours of Apprentices - General compliance support

3. To be responsible for validating the accuracy of OTJ attendance records ensuring the underlying audit requirements are strictly adhered to

4. To liaise with all relevant colleagues to ensure timely collection and processing of Apprenticeship data including course, withdrawal, transfer, completion, achievement and End Point Assessment data.

5. To keep abreast of external bodies changing requirements and disseminate information as required.

6. To provide relevant information, analysis and reports on Apprenticeship data, dealing with and resolving queries as appropriate with specific regard to funding body audit and compliance regimes.

7. To support the Head of Funding and Compliance to train staff, keeping abreast of developments and changes in Apprenticeship funding and systems.

8. To ensure that data held on the system matches underlying records and vice versa to support published audit and funding guidance, utilising available audit software tools and internally developed validation techniques.

9. To be competent in the use of the Provider Data Self Assessment Toolkit (PDSAT) and the Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS).

10. To liaise with Employers and Industry Practitioners to ascertain understanding, and ensure compliance with, the requirements of the DAS and all associated Apprenticeship funding regulations.

11. It is expected that members of the Funding and Compliance Team will work flexibly, undertaking appropriate training and development to extend skills and abilities to meet the needs of the business where appropriate.

12. To support the Head of Funding and Compliance in the maximisation of learners from all funding streams in accordance with organisational targets as appropriate.

13. To undertake such other duties that may reasonably be required by the Head of Funding and Compliance and the organisation.
