**Commercial Finance Business Partner** - Liverpool City Centre - Hybrid working

Core duties will include:
*Commercial Financial Modelling, supporting the senior finance team in regard to ongoing and future operational projects

*Commercial finance representative on all new project proposals

*Build and develop Excel financial models to support bidding for new contracts including full cash flow forecasts

*Liaise with the Senior Management, Board Directors and the Business Development team to collate information for the design of business models.

*Ensure the accurate and robust completion of customer bid submission spreadsheets to an exemplary standard

*Lead on the presentation of Financial Models to the Board of Directors

*Provide support to the Management and Commercial Accounts team in developing models for monthly, periodic and long range forecasting as well as the annual budgeting and strategic review process

*Preparation of periodic, long range forecasts and annual budgets using models capable of consolidating multiple cost centres.

*Provide an analytical service to enable operational management to fully understand the financial implication of their actions.

*Perform monthly P&L & contract performance reviews with operational leads, utilising the suite of financial and KPI reports available. Discussing areas or suggestions for improvements.

*Help drive financial focus and improved operational efficiency

Key requirements:
*Ideally suited for a qualified accountant with previous experience in a Finance Business Partner role

*Demonstrable experience of working in a fast paced, changing finance environment

*Proven ability to convey financial information to non financial managers in a coherent, confident manner

*Proven analytical and reporting skills

*Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

*Experience and proven ability in presentation to Senior Stakeholders including Board level

*Power BI knowledge and ability to set up reports using Power BI desktop

*Good accounting systems knowledge, gained through in-depth exposure to systems such as Oracle, SAP, CODA

*Contract financial modelling / service or product costing experience preferably in a business services environment
