MERJE are working alongside a large UK General Insurance client assisting with the search for a Principal Analyst in the Commercial lines function.
The nature of the role will be primarily focused on Pricing Models across the Commercial Lines business. You will be tasked with providing technical review and recommendations on the model input and results.
You will therefore need to have a good level of software understanding in Emblem and/or Radar both from an input perspective as well as how it impacts the outcomes, and how the risks need managing accordingly.
**So what do we need from you?**
- General Insurance, Actuarial background.
- Commercial lines beneficial but non-essential - this could be a great opportunity to switch from Personal lines to Commercial.
- Software understanding and exposure of Radar/Emblem/GLMs
- Interest or working capability with Data Science tools - R / Python / GBMs
- Communication skills - talking to technical and non-technical stakeholders
