**Hours**: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday: 8.30am-5:30pm
**Location**: Bournemouth

Reporting to the HR Manager, we are looking for an organised, positive and dedicated HR Administrator to join our team. This busy and varied role is the perfect foundation for an individual who has a passion for working with people, has strong administration skills, coupled with a desire to have a long term career in HR.
**What will you be doing?**
- Answering incoming calls to the HR absence line from employees - liaise with Line Managers, record accurate information and assess any follow up action
- Maintaining the online HR people system including:
- Recording accurate personal records
- Updating and reporting on absence
- Filing documentation
- Supporting & managing holiday and time off requests
- Generating regular reports to support the business
- Answer the HR phone line throughout the day and respond to staff enquiries accordingly
- Complete and respond to employee reference requests
- Support with equipment distribution and returns
- General HR administration tasks as required by the HR team
- including filing confidential documentation, scanning, photocopying, research
- Administration of the employee benefits scheme
- Support with Health and Safety concerns affecting people (example
- Covid)
**Key Requirements**:
- Administration experience preferably in a HR role
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience in handling calls and face to face interaction with people
- Organised and methodical with the ability multitask and prioritise accordingly
- A natural disposition to use discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and remain focused
- Positive, professional and approachable
- Ability to complete large volumes of administration work quickly and accurately, with an excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of employment law process and practices would be a benefit
- Proficient in Microsoft Packages including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
