Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for an **HR Administrator**to join the Corporate and Merlin Magic Making (MMM) HR team, based at Merlin HQ in Poole, Dorset. Salary for this role is circa £25,000 per annum+ Merlin benefits.
Reporting into the Senior HR Business Partner, you’ll look after all of the employees across both MMM & Corporate in a wide range of departments including Group Finance, HR, IT, Brand Marketing, Creative, Figure Production, LEGO Production, Legal, Procurement,Strategy and Customer Service.
Most of these employees are based in the UK (either in Poole, Acton, Basingstoke or London) but the rest are spread across the globe. So part of your job is keeping track of every employee, ensuring they are supported and have what they need to deliver a greatjob. And, when it comes to communication, that they know what’s what and what’s happening, wherever they are based.
You’ll support with looking after the HR 'bread & butter’. You’ll be the key support for the Senior HR Business Partner with all administrative tasks. You’ll also help ensure that everything is seamless for our new starters which include their benefits, induction,6 week and 3 month reviews.
You’ll be responsible for general administration of HR including ensuring all our personal files are accurate and all relevant paperwork is filled away. You will demonstrate absolute confidentiality in relation to sensitive information and documentation.
Other responsibilities include helping roll out our engagement schemes to ensure all new starters receive seamless induction and training. Coordination of our long service awards and employee recognition scheme will also be part of the job. There will alsobe a lot of involvement with wellbeing initiatives.
In general, you’ll help make sure that communication from HR is consistent and fun.

**We are looking for the following skills & experience**
- You will have excellent administration skills, ideally having gained experience within an HR team.
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written are key, coupled with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel.
- You’ll be confident to challenge a process and look for new ways of doing things.
- You will be an organised individual (but able to flex with the ever-changing priories) with excellent time management skills and good eye for detail.
- A qualification in CIPD would be advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work at pace and juggle multiple projects.
- Last but not least, you will be a good team player with a positive can-do attitude.
